Catherine (Rheiner) Shealy was the 1991 Big South Conference Player of the year as she led the Eagles to the conference championship.  She also earned the 1991 Big South Women's Golf Championship Medalist honor.  She was also a three-time All-Big South Conference selection in 1991, 1992 and 1993 and is the only golfer in Winthrop women's history to capture that honor three straight years.
