Moore was a four-year standout for the softball team (2007-11) and was part of back-to-back Big South Conference Championships and NCAA Regional appearances. Moore earned the Big South Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player honors her freshman and sophomore seasons. She a three-time All-Big South selection and in 2008 earned NFCA All-Region 2nd Team honors. Cari was voted to the Big South Conference All-Decade Team (2000-09). Moore still ranks among the all-time leaders in a number of categories including saves (2nd), shutouts (3rd), fewest runs allowed (3rd), wins (4th), strikeouts (5th), and complete games (5th). After her playing career, Moore spent a couple of seasons as an assistant coach at Winthrop. Cari and her husband Heath are the founders of Get MOORE Training in Rock Hill, S.C. which specializes in dog training.
