In The Field
- In Friday's action, junior Timothy Speaks grabbed a third place in the 35lb. weight throw with a 16.54m toss
- Shaw's come-from-behind win in the women's shot put highlighted Saturday's action
- Shaw trailed USC Upstate's Rachel Davis going into the final throw, when she uncorked a 14.46m throw to win and set a new school record
- Junior Faith Wood posted a solid performance in the women's triple jump, finishing second with a 11.61m effort
- Freshman Jaylen Bostic and junior Maurion Jamison finished seventh and eighth in the triple jump with 14.16 and 14.15 efforts, respectively
On The Track
- In Friday's action, Brown took home the win in the 300m dash on VMI's banked oval
- His time of 34.68 seconds bested the field while teammate Jurnii Lucas took home an eighth place in the event
