DURHAM, N.C. -- The Winthrop University track and field teams closed out the regular season at the Duke Twilight meet on May 3.

ON THE TRACK
- The men's 4x100m relay team placed fourth overall with a time of 41.02
- Tristen Patterson moved to No.2 in school history in the men's 400m with a new personal best of 47.49
- Jade Reese set a new personal best in the women's 100m dash, crossing the line in 12.08
- Amaiya Whitlock posted a season best in the women's 100m dash with a time of 12.45
- Jurnii Lucas set a new school record in the men's 400H to place fifth in a time of 52.29
- Michael Boucher ran a personal best time in the men's 200m dash in a time of 21.55
IN THE FIELD
- Brianna Breau placed sixth overall in the women's javelin throw with a distance of 39.83m
- Maurion Jamison secured a top-ten finish in the men's triple jump with a leap of 14.47m
- Faith Wood brought home a fourth place finish in the women's triple jump with a distance of 11.51m
