ROCK HILL, SC - Winthrop baseball welcomes nine newcomers to the program in its 2020 recruiting class, including six incoming freshmen and three transfer players. The 2020 recruiting class joins a squad that posted an 11-4 record prior to the season's cancellation.
Head Coach Tom Riginos spoke highly of his incoming group. "We are very excited to welcome our 2020 recruiting class to campus. I want to thank everyone involved in the baseball organization for all the hard work that went into putting this recruiting class together. A special thank you goes out to Coach Eddie Hill and Coach Robert Monday for the tireless effort they put into this class. Recruiting is such an important part of our program. I feel that we have recruited at a high level over the last few years and this class is yet another outstanding recruiting class."
