The Eagles own an 8-5 series lead, taking the 2017 series 2-1 in Farmville, Va. Winthrop has won the series three out of four years the two have faced off, with the Lancers taking a 2-1 series victory in 2016.

TEAM SNAPSHOT
Winthrop is hitting .260 (189-for-726) as a team with a .341 on base percentage. The Eagles have recorded 20 errors as a squad, retaining a .975 fielding percentage overall.
The Eagles are on a four-game winning streak after a dominant sweep over Presbyterian to open Big South Conference play last weekend followed by a tough defensive outing to secure a 3-0 midweek victory over Davidson Wednesday evening.
