CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Winthrop University track and field teams achieved notable performances at the Charlotte Invitational, highlighted by
Anna Conrad's eight-place finish in the women's 1500 meters, ranking her as the second-fastest in school history.
ON THE TRACK
- Mitchell Hill placed seventh in the men's 800 meters with a time of 1:51.86, ranking him fifth in school history.
- Jason Krell finished 11th in the men's 5000 meters, completing the race in 15:24.74, which is ninth in school history.
- Justin Powell achieved 10th place in the men's 400 hurdles with a time of 55.03.
- Griffin McNeish secured 13th place in the men's 5000 meters, recording a time of 15:40.88.
- The men's 4x400-meter relay team of Kendale Cooke, Jurnii Lucas, Kevin Brown, and Tristen Patterson placed fourth with a time of 3:11.00.
- Brianna Dooney achieved the third-fastest time in school history in the women's 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:13.23.
- Anna Conrad registered the second-fastest time for Winthrop in the women's 1500m, clocking in at 4:36.00.
- Jade Reese recorded the fourth-fastest time in school history in the women's 200m with a time of 24.14.
