WINTHROP
- Back-to-back wins at home as the Eagles trailed by nine against Charleston Southern and overcame a 20-point deficit against the Runnin' Bulldogs
- It was the largest comeback of the Mark Prosser Era and the largest in 18 seasons
- The last 20-point or more comeback was Feb. 24, 2009 when the Eagles trailed by 27 before earning a 57-52 victory over Charleston Southern
- The win was the 500th all-time for the Eagles, which includes all home venues throughout the program's beginning in 1978-79
- It was also the 450th inside the Winthrop Coliseum
- Has won 10 of the last 11 regular season home games against league opponents and 10 of the last 12 regular season league games overall
- Logan Duncomb leads the Eagles in scoring at 17.3 ppg and rebounding at 8.1 per game
- He's been in double-figures 10 straight games and now has seven games with 20 or more points
- Duncomb is the first Eagle since Keon Johnson (2017) with a 30-point game and 20-point games over the first three games of conference play
- Eagles hold an all-time record of 258-189 in the month of January

- On Dec. 18, the Eagles suffered a 90-88 loss in the final seconds at North Dakota
- The Fighting Hawks knocked down a three with .5 seconds left after the Eagles had just drilled a three by Daylen Berry for the lead
- Two of the last three road games have both come down to the final seconds, as the previous road contest saw the Eagles win 94-92 in overtime at the buzzer
- The only home loss of the season came at the hands of Coastal Carolina in the final seconds of an 88-84 setback
- Eagles connected on 14 threes in the win over Clinton and have 10 or more threes in five straight games
- Eagles are 50th in the nation in three-point field goals per game at 10.1
- Duncomb posted a career-high 31 points and hauled in 13 rebounds for this 5th double-double of the season at Longwood
- He followed that up with his 6th double-double of the season with 21 points, 10 rebounds against Gardner-Webb
- In the 31-point performance he was 12-for-16 from the field and 7-of-11 from the line and six of his 13 rebounds were on the offensive glass

- Posted his third career double-double in the win over Bob Jones with 23 points, 10 rebounds
- Duncomb finished 11-for-11 from the field, tying a program single-game record for best field goal percentage with 10 or more field goals
- Duncomb's .641 field goal percentage ranks 14th nationally
- Earned a road win in an overtime thriller at LIU in which Kody Clouet's tip-in at the buzzer gave Winthrop a 94-92 victory
- Duncomb led the way with 28 points and Daylen Berry had 21 points in the win
- It is the second time this season both have scored 20 or more in the same game with the first time coming against Coastal Carolina on Nov. 11
- Eagles won 101-79 over South Carolina State at home as the Eagles dished out a season-high 23 assists
- Clouet led the Eagles with 21 points (5 threes) and is second on the team with 29 made on the year
- Duncomb is 1-of-4 Eagles averaging double-figures as Kareem Rozier is second at 12.5 ppg followed by Berry (11.8) and Clouet (11.4)
- Prior to the loss at Texas Tech, the first five road losses were by a combined total of 23 points (average loss of 4.6)
- Lost to the 21st-ranked Arkansas on the road by one point (84-83)
- In the loss to the Razorbacks the Eagles knocked down 15 threes and followed that up with 11 threes at Jackson State
- Rozier led the Eagles with a career-high 23 points at Arkansas and also connected on a career-best seven threes
- Opened the season with an 81-74 win over Queens at the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon

- Mark Prosser starts his 5th season as head coach of the Eagles (7th head coach in program history) and holds an 88-59 record over the first four seasons
- Prosser earned his 100th career win on Nov. 15, which also happened to be the program's 800th win all-time (Eagles won on a buzzer three)

25th ANNIVERSARY
This year celebrates the 25
th anniversary of the 2000-01 team that captured a third consecutive Big South Conference Title. The Eagles battled their way through the season to an 18-13 record. Preseason Player of the Year Greg Lewis was lost for the season after six games. The season opened with the Eagles challenging the 6
th-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels in a 66-61 loss on the road. Led by Gregg Marshall the Eagles won eight of nine games to capture the conference championship, including a 67-65 overtime win in the title game over top-seeded Radford. The Eagles reached the title game after a 67-62 overtime win over Liberty. Winthrop was sent to the play-in game in Dayton, Ohio as the Eagles fell 71-67 to Northwestern State.
