Clouet Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop men's basketball senior guard Kody Clouet has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, announced Tuesday afternoon.

Clouet started all 34 games for the Eagles this past season and earned Big South All-Conference honors. He was second on the team in scoring (13.8) and rebounding (4.9). Clouet led the team with 92 made three-pointers, which are the 5th most ever by an Eagle for a single-season. He led the Big South in three-point field goal percentage (.409) and was third in three-pointers per game (2.71). Clouet along with teammate Kareem Rozier were the only players in the league with more than 75 threes on the year (Rozier had 90).

On the season Clouet had 25 games in double-figures and even recorded his first double-double as an Eagle on Feb. 28 with 19 points, 11 rebounds vs. Presbyterian. On Dec. 2, 2025 his tip-in at the buzzer lifted the Eagles to an overtime win at LIU. On Jan. 21, 2026 he hit a three with two seconds remaining in a one point victory over Radford.

This season Clouet reached a few milestones as he finished his collegiate career with 1,627 points and also surpassed 500 rebounds with 558. In 123 career games he made 276 threes.

Clouet was voted as the 2025-26 Big South Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year, just the second Eagle to ever garner the honor. The first was Pierre Wooten in 2002-03. While at Southeastern Oklahoma State he was a voted as a CSC Second Team Academic All-American (2023-24).
