High Point, N.C. – Monay James's win in the women's heptathlon highlighted day two for Winthrop on the second day of the 2024 Big South Outdoor Track And Field Championships.

Champions (Day 2)
- Monay James became Winthrop's first ever women's heptathlon champion with a school record of 4966, garnering her an all-conference honor. The point total eclipses the old record Taryn Deleon 4877 set in 2017.
Runner-Up (Day 2)
3rd Place (Day 2)
- Faith Wood took home third in the women's triple jump with another school record of 11.91m.
- Joining James on the All-Big South team were triple jumpers Maurion Jamison (14.04m) and Faith Wood (11.91m)
- Wood's jump broke her school record again.
