Rock Hill, S.C. – Coming off their biggest victory of the season at USC Upstate by a final score of 67-61 on Saturday afternoon, Winthrop women's basketball (13-14, 7-7 Big South) hosts High Point Wednesday on Senior Night. The contest will also be the final home game of the season for the Eagles.

SERIES HISTORY VERSUS HIGH POINT
This is the 60th meeting between the Eagles and the Panthers with High Point leading the series, 37-22. The first meeting between the two teams was on Feb. 14, 1970, with Winthrop winning 62-59 at home on the way to winning 10 of the first 14 meetings. High Point has totally dominated the series since 2003, winning 33 of the last 45 matchups, including an eight-game win streak from 2016-2019 and are currently on an eight-game win streak vs. the Eagles dating back to 2020. High Point won the most recent match-up, 75-68 on Jan. 27 in High Point. Winthrop's longest streak of wins during this stretch was four from 2007-2009. Winthrop will be seeking their first win vs. the Panthers since a 69-63 result on Dec. 31, 2019 at home.

• Averaged a double-double with 19.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in two games.
• Opened the week with a career-high 20 points and 16 rebounds in an overtime setback to UNC Wilmington, her second double-double of the season.
• Nearly notched another double-double against Queens as she finished with 19 points and nine rebounds.
• She shot 50.0 percent from the floor (13-of-16) and 13-of-17 from the free throw line (76.5 percent) for the week.
