th annual Winthrop/Adidas Invitational. This is Winthrop's only home meet this year.

- Winthrop competed at the Appalachian State Covered Bridge Open on Friday, Sept. 15.
- On the women's side (5K), the Eagles finished sixth (out of 14 teams)
- Olivia Kemp finished 49th with a time of 19:12.33
- Morgan Ruff finished 62nd with a time of 19:46.86, setting a new PR by 21 seconds
- Her previous best in the 5K was a mark of 20:07.0 at the Royals Challenge last season
- Freshman Alexis Taylor, Erin Melitski and Caroline Bend competed in the 5K for the first time in their careers
- On the men's side (8K), Winthrop finished eighth (out of 13 teams)
- Daren Hinds finished 28th with a time of 25:24.39.
- Freshman Chadwick Sisson and Ivan Diaz competed in the 8K for the first time in their careers.
