Eagles Set for NCAA Southeast Regional

ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Winthrop University men's and women's cross country teams travel back to the state of Virginia on Friday, November 14 for the NCAA Southeast Regional hosted by the University of Virginia. The race will consist of all division one teams representing Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

"I've been really pleased with the group's preparation for the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship the last two weeks. It can be really tricky managing both physical fatigue and mental fatigue at this point in the season, but they've done a great job recovering from the Big South championships and are ready to go for Friday. I'm excited to see the group continue to grow as competitors as we move deeper into the post-season," said Assistant Track and Field/Cross Country Coach, Aidan Fiol.
