Will Martin Named To All-Tournament Team

HIGH POINT, N.C.-Winthrop senior Will Martin was voted to the 2023 Big South Conference All-Tournament Team as the infielder following his three-game performance in which he hit .283.
  
Martin went 6 for 21 at the plate and had four RBI's. Against Gardner-Webb in the first elimination game on the second day of the tournament yesterday, he went 3 for 5 and had three RBI's in the 10-9, 15-inning victory. This was the longest game in Big South Tournament history.
 
This is Winthrop's first all-tournament winner since Hunter Lipscomb in 2017.
