SERIES HISTORY VERSUS ERSKINE
This will be the 21^st meeting between the Eagles and the Flying Fleet, with Winthrop leading the series 12-8. The Eagles have won the last five meetings, including the most recent meeting on Jan. 5, 1986, with Winthrop emerging victorious 64-53 in Rock Hill. Winthrop won the first encounter 56-48 on Feb. 21, 1974 on the way to winning the first two and three of the first four meetings. After dropping three straight to the Flying Fleet, Winthrop has won 10 of the last 13 meetings since. Erskine went 8-18 (4-16 Conference Carolinas) in 2022.
 
LAST TIME OUT

• Blessing Okoh led all Winthrop scorers with 20 points and hit five three-pointers, both career-highs.
• Marissa Gasaway got into double figures in rebounds for the first time in her Eagle career, notching 12, a career-high.
• Winthrop shot 50% from the field in the second half and 40% for the game.
• Winthrop also shot more than 40% from deep and nearly 60% from the charity stripe.
