Winthrop Highlights
- Senior Olivia Esselman paced the women's side with a 32nd place finish with a time of 15:02.2
- Redshirt-sophomore Sidney Jenkins ran the second-best time for the Eagles and finished 66th followed by sophomore Madeline Simmons in 72nd
- Freshman Daren Hinds led the men's side with a 40th place finish and a time of 19:24.4
- Sophomore Austin Spencer was second on the team, finishing 57th
- Freshman Nolan Weisdorfer had the third best finish on the team in 68th

Both the men's and women's cross country teams will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 18 when they host the Winthrop/Adidas Invitational.
