EAGLES AT A GLANCE
- Eagles, Davidson and USC Upstate all competed in the 49er Classic Mar. 19-20
- In that first meet the Winthrop men's jumpers cleaned house as Jalen Hodges, Colby Thorn and Evan Hailes all took first place in their respective events
- Eagle throws turned in a second place performance by Jacob Furland in the hammer while Ambar Nunez-Gomez had a PR throw to place 8th
- Jeremiah Boyd finished 4th in the javelin throw
- Just a few weeks ago at the Winthrop/Adidas Invitational the Eagles set a slew of personal records
- Last week at the Virginia Challenge, Hailes broke the school record for the triple jump while Thorn set a PR in the long jump
