Hailes Breaks School Record In Triple Jump At Virginia Challenge

Charlottesville, Va. – Evan Hailes broke a school record in the men's triple jump as he finished 6th at the Virginia Challenge Saturday afternoon.

Hailes broke his own record on his third attempt with a jump of 15.30m, breaking the old mark of 15.15m he set in 2019.

Jalen Hodges competed in the men's high jump and finished seventh with a height of 2.04m.  

What's Next
Winthrop will be back on the track Apr. 23-24 as it will compete in the Charlotte Invitational.
