Baseball To Host Newberry, Wingate In Fall Scrimmages

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Winthrop baseball is back in action over the next couple of weeks as the Eagles will host Newberry and Wingate in fall scrimmages.

"We are very excited to start playing outside competition," head coach Tom Riginos said. "I know the players always look forward to these games. This is a great opportunity that we have to develop our team during the fall."

Newberry will visit the Winthrop Ballpark on Saturday, October 30 at 1 p.m. and Wingate will be in town the following Saturday, November 6 at 1 p.m.
