Rock Hill, S.C.— The Winthrop women's golf team concludes its fall schedule with the Terrier Intercollegiate Oct. 25-26.

Course: Carolina Country Club | Par 72 (36-36) / 6,056 yards
Format: 54-Hole Tournament (Monday – 36 holes / Tuesday – 18 holes)
Tournament Field: Appalachian State, Central Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, Gardner-Webb, Lipscomb, Longwood, North Alabama, Presbyterian College, Samford, South Carolina-Beaufort, Tennessee Tech, The Citadel, UNC Asheville, USC Upstate, Western Carolina, Winthrop, Wofford College

CHIP SHOTS

The Eagles return to the Terrier Intercollegiate after the 2020 event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic
Winthrop competed in the event in 2019 and finished 12^th out of 16 teams
This is the fourth straight year the Eagles are scheduled for the Terrier Intercollegiate
Sabrina Fonda was the team's top finisher along with Whitney Carter with a T28
Sarah Funderburg (T47) and Makenna Brindley (T62) also competed that year
This will be Fonda's and Funderburg's 3^rd time competing in the event
Funderburg finished T9 at the 2018 Terrier Intercollegiate
In 2016 the Eagles won the event by one stroke over Western Carolina
Funderburg has played in two of the three events this fall and leads the team with a 76.50 scoring average
Fonda and Valentine Savioz have played all three events and are tied for second in scoring at 77.44
