Dreyer Paces Eagles In Second Round, Sitting 3rd Heading Into Tuesday's Final Round

Fripp Island, S.C..— Winthrop women's golf is in third place of stroke play at the 2026 Big South Conference Championship after completing the second round Monday afternoon.

  • The Eagles are sitting two strokes back of second place and holding off fourth place by a stroke over UNC Asheville and Longwood

  • Senior Maelle Dreyer led the team in the second round with a 3-over 75 and is sitting T11
  • Junior Constanca Mendonca is in T4 after posting a second round 77 (+5)
