Friday's Game Suspended, To Be Resumed Saturday

FAIRFAX, VA - Friday's series opening game between Winthrop and George Mason was suspended due to darkness due to the lack of lights at Spuhler Field. The game was suspended at the end of the seventh inning, with Winthrop leading 7-4 over the Patriots. 

Friday's suspended game will be resumed at 1 p.m. Saturday. The originally scheduled Saturday game will take place 45 minutes after the completion of game one. 

Should the second contest Saturday be suspended for darkness, it will be resumed Sunday prior to the series finale.
