ROCK HILL, S.C. - Winthrop women's tennis earned its first win of 2020 with a 7-0 sweep over Hampton in Big South Conference action on Friday afternoon.

• Alisa Soloveva won her No. 1 singles match up for the fourth time in six matches
• Samantha Nanere and Angela Georgieva notched their first collegiate singles wins with victories at No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively.
