Charlotte, N.C. - Alisa Soloveva earned Big South annual honors announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.
Soloveva, a senior from Chelyabinsk, Russia, was named to the Big South All-Academic Team. An Exercise Science major, Soloveva sports a 3.42 grade point average. The senior posted a 10-2 overall record at the No. 1 singles position during the 2020 season and was ranked No. 76 in the Oracle/ITA Division I Women's Singles Rankings. She also recorded an 8-4 doubles record with two different partners,
Rafaela Santos and
Samantha Nanere.
The 2017 Big South Freshman of the Year now has a 64-12 overall career record, earning eight Big South weekly honors over her four seasons. She is a 3-time First-Team All-Big South in singles play and 2-time First-Team All-Big South in doubles play, earning Second-Team All-Big South in doubles play for the 2019 season. In 2019, Soloveva was named an ITA Scholar Athlete.
