ROCK HILL, S.C. – Seventh-seeded Winthrop men's tennis (7-12, 2-6 Big South) will take on second-seed Campbell (14-5, 7-1) in the quarterfinal round of the Big South Conference Championship on Thursday at 12 p.m. at host site Radford University.

Diego Quiroz was named first-team All-Conference in singles this week, earning the honor for the fourth-straight year of his Winthrop career.
-Quiroz's 14-5 overall record (.737) is fourth-best in the conference at the No. 1 singles position. The senior's conference record of 6-2 is good for third in the league at No. 1.

Gabriel Dias (10) and Quiroz (14) each own double-digit singles victories.

Aditya Gokhale's 7-4 record (.636) at No. 5 is the best record in the Big South at that position.
THE MATCH-UP
-Defending champion Campbell finished just out of first place with its sole conference loss coming at the hands of No. 1 seed Gardner-Webb.
-In the regular season match-up on Fri., Mar. 29 in Buies Creek, N.C., Campbell defended its home court with a 5-2 win over Winthrop.
Diego Quiroz delivered a crucial win for the Eagles, a three-set victory over Dustin Werner at the first position.
