Rock Hill, S.C. – For a 15th consecutive year the Winthrop men's tennis team earned Division I Men ITA All-Academic Team recognition. In addition to the team honor, the Eagles had seven members named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

Gabriel Dias, Rhys Jones, Bernardo Kayat, Miha Velicki, Abhimanyu Vannemreddy, Connor Williamson, and Lluis Miralles all earned ITA Division I Scholar-Athlete honors. Dias and Kayat earned the honor for a third time while it was the second straight year for Miralles.

Winthrop was 1-of-6 Big South Conference institutions recognized along with Asheville, Gardner-Webb, Presbyterian College, Radford and USC Upstate. This was the first time since 2016 that the league had at least six members earn the academic recognition.
