ROCK HILL, S.C. – Winthrop women's tennis (11-6, 7-0 Big South) heads to Spartanburg, S.C. Tuesday to face USC Upstate (1-14, 0-4) in Big South action at 2 p.m.

EAGLE HIGHLIGHTS 
-Junior Alisa Soloveva has extended her career-record winning streak to 14 matches. Senior No. 43 Lauren Proctor owns the second-longest streak on the team with 10-consecutive victories.
 
-Both Proctor and Soloveva own 15-1 overall singles records, the most wins in the Big South Conference.
 
-Four Eagles boast double-digit singles victories as Ellie Burns (12) and Rafaela Santos (10) join Proctor and Soloveva in the category.
 
-Burns' 12-4 record is third-best in the conference at the No. 6 position.
 
-Winthrop boasts five players in its singles line-up with an undefeated conference record. No other league player is undefeated.
 
-The Eagles' doubles lineup has remained consistent this season, with only three combinations taking the court: No. 43 Megan Kauffman/Lauren Proctor at the first position (11-5, 6-1), Rafaela Santos/Alisa Soloveva (5-5, 3-0) at court two and Ellie Burns/Tayla van Eck (10-5, 6-1) on court three.

-Winthrop is in first place in the Big South Conference with an undefeated 7-0 record. Including Tuesday's match with the Spartans, Winthrop has two Big South contests remaining on the schedule, both on the road.
 
-Winthrop has won 15-consecutive Big South regular-season matches. The Eagles' last conference loss was the final match of the 2017 season, a 4-3 loss to Charleston Southern, giving Winthrop a 7-1 conference record that year.

THE MATCH-UP
-USC Upstate has struggled during its 2019 campaign, posting one win over Belmont Abbey. The Spartans are new members of the Big South in search of their first league win at 0-4 so far this season in conference competition.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
In the latest ITA/Oracle Division I National Rankings released Mar. 19, Megan Kauffman and Lauren Proctor are at No. 46 in the nation in the doubles rankings, while Proctor is No. 43 in the singles list.
