EAGLE HIGHLIGHTS 
-Junior Alisa Soloveva has extended her career-record winning streak to 13 matches. Senior No. 43 Lauren Proctor owns the second-longest streak on the team with nine-consecutive victories.
 
-Both Proctor and Soloveva own 14-1 overall singles records, the most wins in the Big South Conference.
 
-Four Eagles boast double-digit singles victories as Ellie Burns (11) and Rafaela Santos (10) join Proctor and Soloveva.
 
-The Eagles' doubles lineup has remained consistent this season, with only three combinations taking the court: No. 43 Megan Kauffman/Lauren Proctor at the first position (11-4, 6-1), Rafaela Santos/Alisa Soloveva (5-4, 3-0) at court two and Ellie Burns/Tayla van Eck (9-5, 6-1) on court three.

-Winthrop is in first place in the Big South Conference with an undefeated 7-0 record.

THE MATCH-UP
-Charlotte owns a 12-6 overall record and is 3-2 in Conference USA. The 49ers posted a 6-1 win over Winthrop's fellow Big South opponent Charleston Southern on Feb. 15 and also defeated Davidson, another common foe with the Eagles, 6-1 on Mar. 16.
 
-The Niners are coming off two weekend conference road wins entering Thursday's match, a 5-2 victory at Middle Tennessee and a 4-0 win over Western Kentucky.
 
-In last year's contest, Winthrop took a dramatic 4-3 victory on the road at Charlotte's Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex in a nearly four-hour match. Soloveva battled back from down 2-5 in her first set to win her match 7-5, 6-0 to tie the match at 3-3, and Megan Kauffman delivered the victory with a three-setter win at the No. 3 position that was down to a set tiebreak decision in the third set.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
In the latest ITA/Oracle Division I National Rankings released Mar. 19, Megan Kauffman and Lauren Proctor are at No. 46 in the nation in the doubles rankings, while Proctor is No. 43 in the singles list.

Next week Winthrop is on the road at USC Upstate on Tue., Apr. 2 in Big South play, then hosts its final home match of the season on Sat., Apr. 6 against Georgia State at 11 a.m. Seniors Ellie Burns, Megan Kauffman and Lauren Proctor will be recognized by their coaches and teammates prior to the match.
