Alisa Soloveva currently owns a 10-match winning streak, a career-long. She has earned Big South Player of the Week honors twice this season.

-Winthrop is off to an undefeated start to conference play, putting up five-straight league wins, including two 7-0 sweeps. The Eagles have been at least 5-0 in Big South play for three-consecutive seasons. Â
THE MATCH-UPS
-Gardner-Webb enters Wednesday's match off two-straight wins over Wofford and Campbell. The Bulldogs downed Big South foe Campbell 5-2 on Sunday to improve to 2-1 in the league.

-Hampton has struggled in its first season as a member of the Big South, losing its first three league matches to Presbyterian, Radford and Charleston Southern. The Pirates enter Friday's match with the Eagles off a 7-0 loss to South Carolina State.

-Old Dominion boasts an impressive 13-2 record to start the season with its only losses coming at the hands of No. 4 Duke and No. 16 LSU. The Monarchs are ranked No. 28 in the nation in the latest rankings released Tues., Mar. 19. Interestingly, though ranked nationally as a team, none of Old Dominion's individual singles players or doubles teams have found their way into the rankings lists.
