Connor Williamson earned the Eagles' sole point in the season opener at Charlotte, a 7-5, 6-4 victory at the No. 3 position.

Diego Quiroz both had tough three-set matches against the Niners that fell just short.
THE MATCH-UP
-Friday's match will be the first of the spring season for Queens, counting as an exhibition for the Royals.
-Davidson won its spring opener, a 7-0 sweep of Boston University.

The Eagles head to Raleigh, N.C. to face NC State next Sat., Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. The Wolfpack is receiving votes in the latest ITA national rankings, sitting just outside the top 25 standings.
