ROCK HILL, SC— Once again some of the top disc golfers in the world have made their way to Rock Hill as the 2018 United States Disc Golf Championship that will take place Oct. 1-6 at the Winthrop University Gold Course (Par 67). It is the 20
th anniversary of the U.S. Disc Golf Championship.
Each year the world's best golfers come to Rock Hill to compete for the USDGC title, which is one of the most prestigious prizes in the sport. No matter if you play disc golf or not, watching these players compete at the beautiful Winthrop Gold Course will be an unforgettable and affordable event for the whole family.
Some of the favorites include defending champion and Asheville resident Nate Sexton, who is looking to repeat. Tee times will begin daily at 9 a.m. as competition begins on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Single-day tickets are $10 while a VIP Pass for $25 will get you access to all four days. Winthrop students with an ID receive free admission.
