Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop Athletics is launching a new sponsorship opportunity that will allow select corporate partners to be featured directly on the game uniforms and other competition apparel of Winthrop student-athletes.

Following a recent NCAA Division I rule change permitting additional commercial logos on uniforms, Winthrop Athletics is introducing limited jersey patch sponsorship opportunities for businesses interested in aligning their brand with one of the region's most visible collegiate athletic programs.

The new sponsorship asset provides partners with prominent brand exposure during games, broadcasts, social media coverage, and photography, placing corporate logos directly alongside Winthrop's teams throughout the season.

Beginning Aug. 1, 2026, NCAA Division I institutions will be permitted to display up to two commercial logos on uniforms and apparel during the regular season. The addition of jersey patch sponsorships provide businesses with a new platform to align their brand with Winthrop Athletics and reach fans through highly visible game-day exposure.
