ROCK HILL, S.C. - Winthrop men's tennis (8-6, 4-0 Big South Conference) heads to conference foe Radford (8-9, 0-6 Big South Conference) in a make-up match that was postponed due to weather earlier this season.

EAGLE HIGHLIGHTS
-Winthrop has won four-consecutive matches and is also off to a 4-0 start in Big South play with victories over Gardner-Webb, UNC Asheville, Longwood and Campbell. Since dropping a tough 6-0 loss to Ga. Southern on Feb. 25, Winthrop has bounced back to win seven of eight matches over the past month, including its 4-0 start in the league. 

-Senior Tremayne Mitchell  has won eight-straight singles matches and has a team-leading 11 singles victories on the season, which matches his career-high from the 2015 season.

-Gabriel Dias and Joshua Ryan are an undefeated 8-0 at the No. 3 doubles position, the best record in the Big South Conference at court three.

THE MATCH-UPS
The Highlanders have struggled in league play, falling in five-straight matches to conference opponents, and still looking for a Big South win. Radford's last victory came 5-2 over Delaware.

UP NEXT
The Eagles return to Rock Hill Tennis Center this Fri., Apr. 6 at 3 p.m. to take on Charlotte. Senior Day ceremonies for Tremayne Mitchell and Joshua Ryan will take place beginning at approximately 2:45 p.m.
