EAGLE HIGHLIGHTS
-Winthrop has claimed the regular season Big South Conference championship with an undefeated 8-0 league record.

-Keep an eye on the doubles point – Winthrop has won the doubles point 17 out of its 19 matches this season. Every Winthrop doubles pair owns a winning record: No. 60 Megan Kauffman/Lauren Proctor at 17-0; Tayla Van Eck/Alisa Soloveva at 12-5; Ellie Burns/Aida Kelic at 9-7.

- No. 31 Lauren Proctor (15-2) and Alisa Soloveva (16-2) each boast double-digit singles victories leading their position (Proctor at court one and Soloveva at court two) at the top of the league, with Soloveva's winning percentage (.889) leading the Big South Conference. Proctor is undefeated in conference play and has won all but one of her league matches in straight-sets, while Soloveva has also won each of her conference matches without dropping a set.

-Aida Kelic will be celebrating Senior Day. A win for Kelic would be her 12th singles victory of the season, a new career-high.

AN EYE ON THE OPPONENTS
Marshall has struggled to put together wins this season, with only three overall against Cincinnati, Navy and West Virginia State. The Herd is coming off a 5-2 loss to another Big South opponent in Liberty.

NC State is surging after a 4-3 upset win over its fellow ACC member No. 26 Wake Forest on Friday. The Wolfpack continued the day with a 7-0 sweep of NC Central. Prior to its match with Winthrop, NC State will be hosting a conference match against Virginia.
