ROCK HILL, S.C. – Winthrop women's tennis (8-2, 2-0) earned its eighth-straight victory Friday afternoon with a 6-1 win on the road at College of Charleston.
The Eagles won the doubles point for the ninth time out of 10 matches this season, setting up their momentum to take five out of six singles courts.
NOTABLES
-The Eagles' eight-match win streak equals the longest since the 2016 season when Winthrop also won eight-straight contests.

Alisa Soloveva battled out a three-set victory on court two to maintain her undefeated record, a close 7-5 win in the first set and a tiebreak win in the third set.

Megan Kauffman improved to an undefeated 9-0 record. At singles, No. 23 Proctor won her eighth-straight singles match and fifth-consecutive in straight sets.
