RADFORD, Va. – Winthrop women's tennis (10-3, 4-0 Big South) remains undefeated in league play and posted its first back-to-back sweeps of the season with a 7-0 victory at Radford (6-6, 0-1) Thursday afternoon. The Eagles also earned a 7-0 victory at Longwood Wednesday.

The Eagles won the doubles point for the 11^th time out of their 13 matches this season. As Lauren Proctor returned to the lineup at court one with partner Megan Kauffman, the duo improved to an undefeated 11-0.

Winthrop would clinch the match quickly in singles play with courts one, two and three - No. 23 Lauren Proctor, Alisa Soloveva and Megan Kauffman, respectively - finishing in order, not dropping a set and allowing no more than three games to any individual opponent.

NOTABLES
-On courts one through three, no Winthrop player allowed her Radford opponent more than three games total in the entire match.

-On courts four and five, Aida Kelic and Tayla Van Eck recovered from dropping a set to win a third-set tiebreaker to help complete the sweep.

-Sophomore Alya Mourad has won five of her last six singles matches with all but one of the victories coming in straight sets.
