ROCK HILL, S.C. - Winthrop men's tennis (1-5) opens Big South Conference play this weekend with two road matches on back-to-back days, taking on Gardner-Webb on Sat., Mar. 3 at 2 p.m. and UNC Asheville on Sun., Mar. 4 at 2 p.m. Saturday's match was originally scheduled for Friday, but was postponed due to forecasted high winds.

THE MATCH-UPS
The match against Winthrop will be the conference opener for Asheville as well, though Gardner-Webb opened conference play with a 4-3 loss against Campbell. The Bulldogs are coming off a home win over Appalachian State, while Asheville just suffered a 5-2 loss to the Mountaineers.
