GREENSBORO, N.C. - Winthrop men's tennis (0-4) was defeated 5-2 on the road at UNC Greensboro (4-1) Saturday afternoon. Senior Tremayne Mitchell and junior Diego Quiroz each improved their team-best singles records to 2-2 with individual court victories. 

NOTABLES
-Tremayne Mitchell and Diego Quiroz each battled back from being down big early to win their courts. Mitchell dropped the first set 4-6, and was down 1-4 in the second before he bounced back to win the match 4-6, 7-6, 7-5. Quiroz fell in the first set 3-6, and was down 2-4 in the second before battling for the three-set win, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. 
-The Eagles have been forced to shuffle their line-up with junior Ruy Teixeira out with an injury. 
-Leandros Pappayianis made his return to the lineup for the first time this season. 

UP NEXT
The Eagles host two straight home matches Feb. 24-25. On Sat., Feb. 24 the squad will host NC A&T at 1 p.m. and on Sun., Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. Winthrop will take on Georgia Southern.
