GREENVILLE, N.C. - Winthrop men's tennis (0-3) fell in its second match in two days at the ECU Indoor Tennis Center as ECU (4-0) took a 5-2 victory. 

Winthrop took the doubles point, but with a shift up in the Eagles line-up with Ruy Teixeira out at court two, ECU would take all but court one where Diego Quiroz defeated ECU's Freddie McGeehan 7-6, 6-3. 

UP NEXT

Winthrop hosts its home opener on Sat., Feb. 10 at 12 p.m. at the Rock Hill Tennis Center against Wofford College. 

TENNIS PREVIEW EVENT
The Winthrop men's and women's tennis teams are joining with area tennis enthusiasts to host a Tennis Preview Event at Springfield Clubhouse in Fort Mill, S.C. on Sat., Feb. 3 from 2-5 p.m. The event will include light refreshments, raffle prizes, an alumni mixed doubles exhibition, and the opportunity to meet and greet the 2017-18 Winthrop tennis squads.
