ROCK HILL, SC – The Winthrop Baseball team hosts Wofford on Tuesday at 5 pm at The Winthrop Ballpark and travels to BB&T Ballpark to face Davidson on Wednesday beginning at 6 pm.
The Eagles are 26-18 this season and are making up their rain out game against Wofford on Tuesday. Wofford is 25-23 on the season. Winthrop will be facing Davidson for the first time this season as Davidson is 24-21.
Winthrop is coming off a sweep against Big South foe Gardner-Webb this past weekend. Wofford took one of three against Western Carolina this past weekend and Davidson took two of three against St. Louis but are playing Tuesday against North Carolina.

Anthony Paulsen is entering the game with a .345 batting average with 57 hits, 29 runs scored, 13 doubles, five home runs, and 24 RBI. The Terriers McClain Bradley is batting .365 on the season with 46 hits, 36 runs scored, 11 doubles, six home runs, 29 RBI on the season. The Wildcats Brian Fortier is batting .337 with 62 hits, 36 runs scored, 15 doubles, 14 home runs, and 48 RBI.
Winthrop beat Wofford earlier this season 10-6, where they scored five in the top of the ninth to win the game. Winthrop will be facing Davidson for the first time this season because the other game this season was cancelled due to weather. The Eagles did win last time against the Wildcats, 15-6.
