ROCK HILL, SC – The Winthrop Baseball team hosts Gardner-Webb this weekend for a three-game series beginning on Friday at 7pm at The Winthrop Ballpark.
The Eagles are 23-17 and 10-5 BSC and are currently in first in the Big South while Gardner-Webb is 22-22 and 9-9 BSC and are currently in fourth place. Both teams are entering the series with a loss on Wednesday.
Game 1 will be Friday beginning at 7 pm on ESPN3 while Saturday's game will be at 6 pm, and the final game on Sunday will be at 2 pm.

Anthony Paulsen leads the team in batting average with .351, hits with 54, doubles with 12, and has 29 runs scored, 24 RBI, and five home runs.
The Bulldogs Collin Thacker leads the team with a .369 batting average, 65 hits, 13 doubles, 40 RBI, and he has six home runs and 26 runs scored. Bradley Hallman is 3-3 on season with a 2.92 ERA with 42 strikeouts in 74.0 innings pitched.
