ROCK HILL, SC – The Winthrop Baseball team hosts North Carolina A&T on Wednesday beginning at 6 pm at The Winthrop Ballpark.

The Eagles are 23-17 and were off this past week due to finals and a rain out. North Carolina A&T enters the game with a 21-21 record and only took one of three against Bethune-Cookman.

Winthrop beat North Carolina A&T earlier this season 11-4. Junior Mitch Spires went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and three runs scored. The Aggies Keenen Herring went 3-for-3 with one RBI and two runs scored.

Spires leads the team in batting average with .353, hits with 53, and runs scored with 34. North Carolina A&T Myles Sowell is batting .394 on the season with 52 hits, 32 runs scored, and 21 RBI.
