ROCK HILL, SC – The Winthrop Baseball team travels to Lynchburg, Virginia where it will play Liberty on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at The Liberty Baseball Stadium.
The Eagles are 17-16 and 5-4 in the Big South Conference this season and are coming off a win against The Citadel Tuesday night. Liberty is 20-11 and 7-2 in the Big South Conference this season and are coming off a win against James Madison.
The Eagles played Liberty at home last season where they swept them and the Eagles have not traveled to Liberty since 2013.

Reece Green leads the team in innings pitched with 58.2 and strikeouts with 42.
The Flames Sammy Taormina leads the team in batting average with .344, hits with 42, triples with two, home runs with five, and RBI with 32. Caleb Evans is leading the team in wins with five, strikeouts with 47 and innings pitched with 51.1. He has a 1.40 ERA this season.
