"It was a very tough and hard-fought match against Wofford today," said Winthrop's Coach
Sergey Belov. "We had to really dig down deep in order to come up with the win. Dylan and Peter turned their doubles match around by coming back from 3:0 deficit which gave the first point of the match. Also, Ruben had to come back from 4:1 deficit in the third set in order to give us a win in today's match. It was a great team win and we're looking forward to the next match."
The Winthrop Eagles evened their record at 1-1 with the victory, and will be in action again Friday, Feb. 6, at home against USC-Upstate.
