The Lady Eagles fall to 1-1 on the season. The Lady Eagles lone match win came from #4 seed Senior Giovanna Portioli (Curitiba, Brazil) who defeated Jenny Falcone 6-2, 6-4.

In the singles, #1 seed Alkema fell to Christin Newman in her first match of the season 7-6, 6-7, 5-10. #2
Andressa Garcia lost to Kelly Kambourelis 4-6, 3-6. #3 seed
Alice Garcia lost to Brooke McAmis 2-6, 4-6. #4 seed Portioli beat Falcone. #5 seed Cridland lost to Samantha Maddox 3-6, 6-3, 1-6 and #6 seed Gunaysu was beaten by Grace Baker 5-7, 6-7.
The Lady Eagles will be back in action on Monday morning as they take on the University of South Carolina at 10:00 am. South Carolina is ranked 31st nationally.
