DAVIDSON, NC – The Winthrop men's tennis team dropped its tenth match of the season, as the Eagles fell 7-0 to Davidson Saturday afternoon on the campus of Davidson College.
The Eagles move to 8-10 on the season, as the Wildcats improve to 6-8 overall.

Luka Stanic went into three sets in their singles round matches, but were unable to grab a point. Comerford fell 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 to Calum Gee at the No. 4 position, as Davidson's Connor Evans defeated Stanic at No. 6, 1-6, 6-4, 1-0.
Winthrop returns to conference play on Sunday, March 25 as the Eagles will travel to UNC Asheville. The doubles round is slated for 1 p.m.
