ROCK HILL, SC – Winthrop Athletics has entered into an agreement with Tim Cowie Photography LLC, to serve as the official partner for sports photography and the online Photo Store.

Winthrop will provide photos for viewing and purchase through its newly revamped Photo Store that can be accessed by logging on to the Winthrop Athletics web site at www.winthropeagles.com  and clicking on the photo store button.  The photo store can also be accessed directly by going to www.winthropphotos.com.

“We are currently offering photos for purchase in the sports of men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, golf and men's and women's cross country,” said Jack Frost, assistant AD for Media Relations.  “As the athletic year progresses, we will be populating our photo store with more sports.  We invite our fans, and particularly parents and relatives of our student-athletes to visit the site often.  I believe they will be impressed with the number of high quality images.”

Professionally, Cowie shoots a number of sporting events throughout the year, including ACC, Atlantic Sun, Big East, Big South, Big 10, SEC and SoCon sports.  His experiences have included NCAA men's basketball regionals, Sweet 16 & Elite 8, NCAA softball championships, baseball and golf regionals and volleyball finals.  His work has appeared in numerous media guides, newspapers, magazines and feature books, including Sports Illustrated, SI for Kids, ESPN the Magazine, Dime Magazine, Volleyball Magazine, SI.com and ESPN.com.
