Mullins was selected as the Big South's Co-Defensive Player of the Week for her performance in four matches in the Winthrop Classic.  Mullins had a record-breaking weekend in the Winthrop Classic.  Friday evening against Mercer, Mullins set a new Winthrop record for blocks in a three-set match, finishing with 12 total blocks, breaking the old mark of nine set back in 2003.  Over the four matches played in the tournament, Mullins recorded 22 total blocks, 30 kills, hit .310 and was responsible for 45.5 points.
