Rebecca Toor, a senior from Rotonda West, Fla., posted 31 kills, hit .467 and averaged 3.88 kills per set to lead the Eagles to two Big South wins last week to earn Big South Conference Player of the Week honors for a fourth time this season. The middle hitter got her week started with 20 kills on .559 hitting and chipped in three blocks as Winthrop downed Campbell 3-1 on Friday night. Against High Point the following afternoon, Toor found the floor for 11 kills and posted a hitting percentage of .346 to go along with two blocks in the 3-1 win over the Panthers. As of Oct. 17, Toor was ranked 48th nationally in hitting percentage with a .360 average.
