Schippers earned her first career shutout on Oct. 6 in a 2-0 win over High Point, tallying eight saves in the contest. Two days later, she snagged five saves in the 3-2 overtime win against Liberty. Schippers now has all seven wins in net this season for the Eagles, ranking her third in school history for most wins in a season. She posted one shutout and 15 saves for a .867 save percentage in the wins against the Panthers and Flames, finishing with a 0.96 goals against average. Schippers was named Defensive Player of the Week by the Big South Conference for games played Oct. 3-9. It is her second Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.
